SPII Vision

The vision of Support Programme for Industrial Innovation (SPII) is to promote technology development and commercialisation in South Africa.

SPII Mission

The mission of SPII is to provide financial assistance for the development of commercially viable, innovative products and /or processes and facilitate commercialization of such technologies.

Sukema is SUCCESSFUL!

SPII has approved and endorsed two projects Sukema has applied for. 

SPII Grant 1

The first grant approval was in February 2009 and the three milestones were as follows:  Vehicle and logistics management, Electronic Occurrence Book, Guard Recruitment and Verification.

The total project cost was R3.9m and we were successful in getting full audit payout for all three milestones.

SPII Grant 2

The second grant approval was as joint signatory for an application made in April 2010. We have concluded the development, been audited and now await payment from SPII.  The three milestones were as follows: Roster Module, Remuneration Module, Asset Management Module & Biometrics & Incident Management Integration.

The total project cost was R5m.

We are currently finalising a third application for more exciting innovative products.
